|
|
Hi all,
I have an SP-170 which is about 5 years old.
Today it started not sounding some keys. For example all the 'A' keys, except for the bottom A do not sound. The same can be said for the F's.
Does anyone know what it could be?
Best regards

Hi, I have the same problem with 3 notes of octaves 5, 6 and 7: the C sharp's, the F's and A's, so 9 keys in total are no sounding.
Could you fix the problem? any clues about the solution? (dust, maybe some cleaning or something else in the electronics?)
Thanks! |

It is possible one of the ribbon interconnect cables needs reseating. It's probably worth doing to all of the cables. The key contacts have a habit of wearing out, but that tends to affect notes randomly, rather than affecting the same note across several octaves. |
