Please describe what you mean by location and access.
The multisample are accessed through the OSC page in programs. Each program uses either one or two samples or multisamples. Which is used depends on the instrument and range. Multi samples are mapped across the keyboard to minimize problems that are inherent in transposing any sound over too large an interval.
Simple waves may use only one or a few samples. A piano (which is generally the biggest multisample on a workstation synth) may sample all 88 notes at several velocities, with damped or open strings, damper noise, sympathetic resonances and mechanical noises.
These multisamples are accessed only in conjunction with a program -- while you could play each within, say, a user drum kit and get close to the original sample, you cannot just download or extract the samples.
There are 3rd party (not Korg) sample disks of the "sounds of the Trinity" (which is to say also the TR-Rack) available on the internet, but the quality varies and these are, again, samples of the programs and not the raw multisamples.
