I was checking out the Purgatory creek website yesterday and noticed many of the program names in their libraries are the same as program names in my Kronos 2. Does anyone know if the programs are actually the same? The names seem too exact to be coincidence. Korg offers some free Purgatory Creek samples and programs for new Kronos 2 purchasers (2 Rhodes and a Clavinette). Obviously I don't want to waste the storage space if they are the same.

They are from the same person, he recently got a license to offer his library trough the official korg shop too. They are still free in the shop.

The version in the shop is further expanded with specific kronos stuff and settings, you better use the version in the shop then the one on purgetory creek.

There are several posts about this topic on the Kronos board.

Korg also licensed many of his "Famous Synth Sounds"... that is what you are referring to. They are mostly the same, some effects, controllers have been added.
