So pleased and relieved you've been "lucky" with this.
I left the key in our car overnight once, parked in a fairly busy street with many passers by etc.....but following a frantic key search the following morning, with added panic...the key and car were still there.
(I'm sure I saw it give a smug grin whilst I was kicking myself for such an error.... ).
However.....I'm no one's hero,though....
We do learn from mistakes....Phew...
Best Wishes. |

I've heard this is more common in rural areas in the US especially. I can't even imagine getting out of the car with the key still inside. I check twice if I've locked everything correctly.
Even so, I'm really happy you got your stuff back, and that your wife managed to learn this lesson without losing thousands of dollars. |

Glad to hear everything turned out alright. It certainly makes me want to have a talk with my insurance company though. This is a lesson for all of us. Fortunately it turned out alright. _________________ If music is the food of love, play on and play loud!

So cool it got found, perhaps a joy ride by some local kids? In rural America my dad used to keep his house unlocked, I warned him and warned him then one night he opened the door and got shot. He then started locking the doors and sadly it turned out it was a neighbor looking for drug money! You can never be to cautious! |
