That is amazing (especially for two people to get their gear recovered). I am pleased for you Smile

I feel for you, it's not a nice feeling.

Super pleased that you got your gear back though.

I'm sure I'll feel better once things really get back to "normal". I'm just surprised I guess. Before I felt like s**t but I thought it was because I didn't have any of my stuff and had to worry about how to replace it and such. Now I learned I have everything back and I still feel bad, so I guess part of my frustration was always about the theft and the violation of it. For five minutes I really considered just applying for a job at the local grocery store. I never expected to get rich in this line of work but the idea of spending thousands upon thousands again just to get back to where I was wasn't appealing. Shocking how easily they hit me so hard.

Oh well, I'll get better. Even if I need some time to get past it I'm glad it "ended" this way, it could've been a LOT worse!

I'm glad you have your gear back (and car of course).

I also don't like to think about losing my Kronos.

Yeah thanks guys. Next week I'll have my car back and that weekend I'll gig with my own gear, I'm sure I'll feel better then. Thanks for all the support once again! I'm gonna ask Sharp to unsticky this now.

Just looked back at this thread and am very pleased to see you have recovered your gear.

It's a wicked world but an optimistic one when diligent people pool their resources for a good cause.

A stressful experience but now you can get back to enjoying the music again!

Chapeau!

So happy you have everything back. Wishing you a speedy recovery from this traumatic experience. I'm paranoid about anything happening to my K so I can imagine what you're going through. Cool

SanderXpander two questions,
One, do you possibly have some new inspiration for your music?
Two, perhaps it was taken by an ex or rival band? 😃

I love a story with a happy end. Very Happy
My advice: let the bad vibes pass you by, focus on the fact you got everything back, and make some great music!

I have to say I felt a lot better when I drove my van home from the garage today and unloaded everything into my storage!
The garage said the car seemed absolutely fine. I also bought a Disklok steering wheel lock so I can sleep better tonight.
Tomorrow I'll bring my Kronos up to settle my nerves.

I also contacted LoJack, seems if I want to avoid a two hour drive to their facility I need to find a closed off space somewhere around here where they could install the tracker. So I'm still looking into that.
