trying to load some of Busch's piano offerings from a USB stick.

1 - I have been unable to audition programs.

2 - Tried loading and it said KSC were incomplete due to missing EX's. My brain and the disk mode are not in sync!

3 - Just tried loading PCG's and KSC's too. It loaded into internal memory. I cannot find them. I thought they would be in UU-GG.

Can anyone lend a hand before my brain explodes? Thanks!

I am just trying to get some new sounds. Why is this so complex? Where are the step by step foolproof instructions? I've checked the manual and searched the forum and no love. Can someone please help me?

Put the KSC and the folder of samples on the hard drive. In the global menu, go to the KSC Autoload tab, choose "add KSC" and find the "_Userbank" version of Busch' KSC and choose it. Now hit the button "do autoload now" and wait until it completes.
Now all samples required for any programs are loaded. You can now browse the PCG by choosing "open", not "load" when you have it selected in disk mode. You can audition single programs and load them as required.

And if I want to load a few different pianos, will I use Append, Clear sampling mode data or Clear all?

Also the _user bank version of the KSC is a very small file and the other KSC is a much larger file and seems the only one that worked. wouldn't I want the larger file?

Ok. I am getting the first piano to play (Iowa) and it is lovely!
However Auto load is not working. It says the KSC file refer to unavailable sample data.

Somewhere from a drop down menu I found "save sampling data" and saved it to my internal SSD. That did not help. This all feels convoluted.

How do I load some PCG's and KSC's and have it available to use?

I've had this board for 4 years and done this before. Having a real hard time finding the answers even though I've bookmarked related posts on my iPhone reading list when I've come across them. Yet now that I need them I cannot find them.

Ok so I got the first piano to stick. So how do you keep the second piano from overwriting the bank that is already being used?

Try this tutorial.

Also the Bolder tutorial covers some things that are applicable as well:

OK, now getting File/path not found when trying to load KWF's Ethereal Waves. The folder looks good, when I open it, it has all the necessary files. It does add a ? at the end of the folder's title when viewed from the USB stick inside the Kronos.

When I choose utility/copy and then my internal SSD, the text naming area is greyed-out and paste fails.

Anyone ever come across this?
