Just wanted to say thanks so much for this. My M1R's been lying dormant since I switched to W7 64 as the old Soundlib editor no longer worked.
Yours is a great step forward thoguh. Managed to dump my M1 sounds to Flex but haven't figured out uploading my old sound banks yet but I'll keep fiddling until it does.
Thank you. |

You're welcome. Thanks for the support!

Have you figure this out yet? Are you trying to load syx files and dump TO the M1/R or get sounds FROM the M1/R to edit? |

Hi Sunriser!
This is great stuff! Looks like a very nice editor - how big an effort would it be to include T-series? And perhaps other AI(2) synths? Any roadmap for the development? I'd love to give it a ride with my T2's!
Thank you for your efforts! |

synthjoe, I'm sure a T-series version can be made, but it's a long process. SYSex data, T screen navigation, etc. must all be revised.
If I get some more requests for it, I may consider it.... |

The development of the T1/T2/T3 Flex Editor is underway. I should have something to test out within a week.
Do I have any volunteers to do some beta testing with their T-series board? |

Wooowwww!!! A big thank you, sunriser! I shall try it out at my earliest convenience (probably during the Christmas holiday.... ) Looks awesome! I should finish my multisound editor, as well - and then you could do everything via MIDI what the Tex series are capable of!
Thank you again, I'm thrilled to try it ASAP! |

I've just downloaded it, yet to hook up to MIDI and importing my SYX's, but this looks really great and I appreciate that someone out there is still doing M1 things! Well done!
I have two feature requests for the next version:
One is to not automatically export to library any sounds above 99 that are for EX when you only have a basic M1 (so you don't have to manually keep clicking OK a lot when loading an SYX from an EX dump)
The second is the ability to be able to "hoover up" any duplicates (not just based on name, but all parameters) - I have noticed straight away there's a lot of those, which I hadn't noticed before now!
I'm definitely adding this thread to my favorites, thank you so much Sunriser! |

I feel it's important to at least indicate to the user that a Multisound is invalid for a particular Prog. If it is automatically going to re-target that Multisound to one at or under 99, which one should it be? Maybe an option could allow you to select an alternate Multisound or ignore that Prog and just load an INIT PROG instead. Thoughts?

This may be do-able. Add a button for "Delete Duplicates"? I'll look into that.
Thank you for your interest! |

Maybe an 'ignore all' button would be handy, as well as a 'replace' and selection of a multisound and also 'replace all' button. This way you have all options open to the user.

Maybe a 'select duplicates' is more useful, that way you can see them all, and then delete with a single hit of the 'delete' key or a button. Maybe someone just wants to know whether there are duplicates, but not necessary delete them. |

Greetings from germany and thank you so much for the program. After many years i have reactivated my home recording section with the "good old" Wavestation and M1. The emagic sound diver is not really running on Win 10, and so is was looking for an other editor. Other editors are very complicated. Your editor is very easy to use and it has all, what is nessecary. Now i am looking for a Wavestation editor like yours. Any idea?
Thank you once again |
