Hi there.

Is there a way to prevent the e2 from sending Program Change to all the external synths when switching pattern?
MIDI filter set to Short does so, but also disable external Note message, hence thats' pretty useless.

I could'nt find a solution, except by disabling PC receive on the external gear or using some kind of MIDI device (box or computer) in between to filter MIDI events.

It's really a PITA when trying to program variations of a same pattern...

Program change is sent on global midi Chanel of your choice. Use the menu to set it on a different chanel than your other synths.

Thanks, I figured that out eventually.

This setting should be optional though (IMHO), since some synths only have a global PC receive on/off switch AFAIK.
