If we could switch pattern in record mode (just like now in playing mode with the electribe waiting the end of the pattern before switching) we could imagine expand the recorded part through these two patterns (along 8 bars)

for example,
if we made a copy of 4 identical bars on two patterns we could add an "extra part"
along these 2x4bars

is this would be complicated to implemented?
(of course it would require that there be absolutly no "gap" between 2 patterns..)
