Sounds like dust mites, sometimes I see them on my Kindle screen.

If you don't want to see them then vacuum every day - there will still be some around, you'll just see them less

It wasn't enough to put me off but yes I would have probably bought a semi-weighted synth action in 73/76 keys over the weighted version if it had existed.

Thanks that sounds OK, I would be wanting to send the raw un-FXed signals anyway for further processing in the DAW.

is it possible to have 3 different stereo instruments fed to the available outputs or does main L/R always output a combination of all sounds?

What I'd like to achieve is

Instrument 1 coming out of L/R
Instrument 2 coming out of 1/2
Instrument 3 coming out of 3/4

Is this possible?

I use SPDIF mainly because I assume it should be less prone to electrical/radio interference. Also I have limited audio inputs so it keeps the analogue inputs free for something else which may not have SPDIF out. The USB link only supports one stereo channel.

With a firmware update to the Kronos and the PC USB driver it should be possible to get all 16 stereo channels across at the same time.

I would love to see this! (and hear it!) it would be a much more efficient way to link it to any DAW.

I use a Lindy converter, never had any issues with it.
