Sounds like dust mites, sometimes I see them on my Kindle screen.

If you don't want to see them then vacuum every day - there will still be some around, you'll just see them less :)

It wasn't enough to put me off but yes I would have probably bought a semi-weighted synth action in 73/76 keys over the weighted version if it had existed.

Thanks that sounds OK, I would be wanting to send the raw un-FXed signals anyway for further processing in the DAW.

Sanity check on number of unique outputs

Hi all,

is it possible to have 3 different stereo instruments fed to the available outputs or does main L/R always output a combination of all sounds?

What I'd like to achieve is

Instrument 1 coming out of L/R
Instrument 2 coming out of 1/2
Instrument 3 coming out of 3/4

Is this possible?

Your audio interface may auto detect the Kronos clock speed when you connect it, if not you can select it in the interfaces settings in your DAW. I have the audio interface set as master, works ok so I've never looked into the details of master/slave. SPDIF will appear in your DAW (should already be ...

I use SPDIF mainly because I assume it should be less prone to electrical/radio interference. Also I have limited audio inputs so it keeps the analogue inputs free for something else which may not have SPDIF out. If you need an optical/digital SPDIF converter I use one from Lindy and it's worked ...

This is the only thing the Montage has over the Kronos in my opinion. I'd love to see this on the Kronos and I wouldn't think it would be too hard to implement?

Upgrade USB link.

The USB link only supports one stereo channel.

With a firmware update to the Kronos and the PC USB driver it should be possible to get all 16 stereo channels across at the same time.

I would love to see this! (and hear it!) it would be a much more efficient way to link it to any DAW.

The only feature on the Montage I'm envious of is the 'Connect MONTAGE to your computer with a single USB cable and capture every nuance of your creativity into your DAW. MONTAGE’s powerful USB driver can send 16 and receive 3 channels of STEREO 24 bit/44.1 kHz digital audio ' This would be a w ...
