Rusty

The rear panel of my Electribe emx1 is rusty. Quite bad. Spreads quite a bit.
Anybody knows how to rid of the rust?
Quite sad to see this much brown on the rear panel.

Bag/Carry Case for the Korg Volcas

Ok. So now I have all 4 volcas. Hooray. They sound good, plays well and definitely mobile for play anywhere. Now, how do I put them all in the bag without them getting facial scratches and hard hitting damage? Anybody has any idea where to obtain a bag or carry case for all 4 volcas and perhaps room ...

Oh yeah!! The Sample rocks. Still trying to figure out how to record samples and insert them into the Volca. Will have to make do with the 100 om board sounds.

Nice! I'm actually thinking of getting one myself, but I might want to wait for the new electribe sampler coming out next year. If I have some extra coin I might end up getting one anyway as it has some interesting usage. Its pretty limited but then again, sometimes that stirs up creativity. Oh yes ...

volca sampler

Thanks Roblabs.
Will be swinging by my local store to get it today.
They're going at S$150 now. Opportune time to get it at this year-end discount promo price.
Woohoo!

Korg Volca Sampler Sequencer

Thinking of putting money into the Volca Sampler. Just to expand what I already have, the volca Beats, Keys and Bass. They all play well, but I think the Sampler may add another dimension. Only trouble is, I'm using Android and I do not have an iPhone or iPad to download any Korg apps. So what will ...

bleed

Agree it's still best to use a power-source mixer. I hope somebody somewhere will manufacture a mixer without the need for power-source. The only quick fix now is a splitter like the Rockstar, I think. Oh well, the Rockstar does what it does and I don't get bleeding or any other disturbance. But I ...

cheap vs mixer

I opted for cheap. To be honest, the best thing about user a splitter is that the Volcas are mobile. I can play it on the fly anywhere (standby batteries), without the need for power supply. However for best sounds, use a mixer. If you have many instruments (like myself), a mixer is always the best ...

belkin rockstar

It works! I had the keys and beats but since the Rockstar works, I bought the bass. It is now the volca trinity. Won't be sleeping for a few nights now that I have all three Volcas. Still a bit far from composing anything melodic but the sounds is great. I also have an Electribe emx1, a kaossilator ...

Thanks. Looks like what I need. Not expensive. Plus, it's portable.

Re: Volca sync

To be honest, the volca series is really not difficult to manipulate. I've got an Electribe EMX-1sd. I'm still learning how to use it well. The basics are easy, but creating is challenging with so little instructions out there. Now with the new Electribe, I'm not sure if I want to plonk another ...

Volca sync

So I bought the Volca Keys and Beats. On their ownself, they are really fun instruments. But the real fun I'm sure, is in the sync and play-together. Tried that with sync-in and sync-out. But the sound output is not sync-ed. So I guess the only way is to output the sound via a mixer. Does anybody ...
