I played with one for about 30 minutes on Friday. I think there are actually less menus than on the ESX? There just aren't any labels for the menus (holding shift and clicking a pad selects a menu item, or you can use the left/right cursor). The synth osc modes are very limited compared to the E2 ...

I guess the problem is that the Volcas sync on 8th notes, so the level of detail needed to do 16th note swing, even via external clocks is not there?

AKA Trigger hold motion sequencing from the tribes. I wish there was a way that they could wedge this into a firmware update!
