So there is a PA4x at my music dealer. I am certain
he would allow me to COPY the STYLES from there
and try them on my home PA-900
Would that operate effectively?

I have NOT upgraded my Korg PA900 OS to 1.2
Simply because when first released, many had problems.
May I suggest, you completely RELOAD from Scratch,
the entire OS from the OFF state as directed in the instructions.

Thanks Snork, My piano dealer may have a PA3X and I want to
snag some styles.

Tell me about the 1010 pedal.

I am wondering if I can load the styles from either of the above
machines into my 900?
Or would the SETS load with the Proper SOUNDS?

Can I just use the styles and edit my own Sets?

What an amazing keyboard the 900 at a price under 1900 american!

MCK, Good thinking!! However the work around is this: Lower the brightness of the screen. (Which your thought led me to do.) Menu > Dial Almost dark. About 5% of full on bright. I use the 900 a lot. And man o man that boot time! If the display burns in, we'll have it replaced. There is no evidence ...

this forum available is quite a blessing.
I re read the manual and keep stopping - because I find hours
of perusing at hand! you know....

The index has not the word 'memory'. And gee whiz, if you don't play for a week, and are not reading the MANUAL daily(!) this machine can
get away from you! Yuks.
Q: how to determine how much memory remains on DISK?

It has to be easy, just can't find it. Anyone?

May I say the Korg PA900 at it's 1899 price point is a great
machine for the money! I love mine. But last decade, I really
wanted a PA3X! Pretty darn close! Half the money!

I got a nice take. But, it has maybe 3 measures of dead air
until I realized I was Hot and Recording!

How to eliminate those dead measures?

My best keys, the Korg i3 is now in a box, since I purchased
the 2000 dollar PA-900.
Someone offer me 499 bucks (or so) for it, add some shipping
and have more fun than I did!
