Thank you very much for your reply.

I guess that I can live with it, the main problem is that it keeps the activity lights on my MIDI interface constantly flickering.

It is quite distracting - but, it is no big deal, if I just turn the interface in another direction.

Thank you for the reply!

Yes, sorry, I meant Midi Clock.

It is definitely the Triton, when I switch it off or unplug MIDI, it stops.

How To Turn Off MIDI Clock.. for good!

Hi!

If I select internal or external MIDI Clock, the Triton is always sending either MTC or Active Sensing message, is there anyway to switch these off completely?

The LED's on my MIDI interface are constantly flashing.

Hi Paul. That is great that it all went well... welcome to the 2.5.3 club. :D There seems to be many vagaries concerning this update procedure... either to format the disks on the Triton or PC or use as is straight out of the box. Is it the drives or the disks?... one of life's great unanswered ...

...just updating my own thread!! What ultimately caused this problem was my old MIDIMAN thru box... I have had it for years, it was very well built - but, regrettably decided to mess with my non-technologically inclined mind when I was very vulnerable to such devious and unwarranted behavior ...

Hi. The Imation disks are the ones that I used, they came in bright day-glo colours. If you search around the forums, you will find that it is a common enough problem with people having difficulties updating the OS. It seems to be a combination of temperamental drives and disks... and aging ...

Hi there. I recently had to update the OS after acquiring a Triton Pro. I had a lot of trouble using ''generic'' type disks.. it would get past the first one and then stall on all the rest, effectively ''bricking'' the Triton. I bought some branded 2HD disks and it all went without an hitch from ...

Oh dear.

I have found the answer in the utility page and it works perfectly.
In future, I will explore the options before posting questions on this forum.

For future reference: it is the ''Copy'' command on the Utility page that allows you to save directly to a external Disk.

Transfering Files from Floppy Directly to SCSI Drive.

Hi again. Is there an easy way to transfer files from a floppy inserted into a Triton directly to an attached external SCSI drive without first loading them in to the Triton banks? Is this possible from just using the ''Disk'' menus or would I have to load in the individual data and then save as the ...

Hi again.

I managed to resolve this issue. It was the ''Control Change'' and ''Bank Change'' messages sent from the Triton causing the problem.

Locate Switch Crashes External Synths!

Hi! First post here... and, typically, I have a problem. When I am sequencing from the Triton and press the ''Locate'' switch to return to the start of a song my external synth's either give a MIDI error message or just lock up (Roland JD-990.) I have gone through the MIDI filter settings on the ...
