Here's the official Korg statement about recessed pads. Not that it would be of any comfort... “In many Electribe 2 and Electribe 2S, the top panel has a convex curve which means that some of the pads, especially in the centre of the top row, are close to being flush with the top panel. However, we a ...

I noticed this too with the new ES2. Batch number between 1000-1500. The top row middle pads (4 and 5) are the most unresponsive ones and the bottom row side pads(9 and 16) has the best responsiveness. Has someone else also noticed that you have to hit the middle pads slightly harder than the ones ...

ES2 sampling time
Is it normal that you have only 99 seconds of sampling time (49 seconds in stereo) and not 270 seconds like the manual says? Do you have to delete all of the preset sounds to get that 270 seconds?

Thanks for sharing your experiences with ES2. I've been planning on buying one but looks like a good idea to wait some more and see if they can get most of the problems solved with firmware updates. I can live with the fairly limited features but all those clicks/pops and problems with the memory ...

The high background noise is absolutely normal for all Volca models. It's dependent from the impedance of your headphone. When using my AKG headphones with Volca Sample or Keys I get much lower noise than with my other headphones. Yes this is true, I got my unit back from repairs and they told that ...

I've finally had a reply on this: Unfortunately it seems that this function was not correctly implemented in the current released firmware – please accept our apologies for this. The good news is that this issue has already been fixed and we plan on making a firmware upgrade available very soon, ...

I was just thinking the same as it simply doesn't work the way that the manual implies. Right now I have to set tempo to 10 BPM and then do motion seq to "speed" parameter having Function key pressed(semitone steps) to be able to create melody or bass lines as accurately as possible. It certainly ...

Volca sample noise and constant tone
Hi, Is it normal that when using headphones with volca sample, in addition to the expectable background noise you can also hear a fairly quiet tone in the background? It doesn't make any difference if I use it with AC or batteries, also adjusting the volume doesn't have any effect on how loud the ...
