Ok here's the deal. I found a Roland pm-10 at a good price for my V-drum kit. Sounds excellent with the V-drums. Blows away the cheap Kustom wedge powered monitor. Just for fun I plugged the KROSS into the PM-10 and it blew me away. Clear, sharp and plenty loud. I would assume the CUBE CM 30 would ...

No band. Just a vdrum kit and an acoustic guitar or two thru amp. I'd use the pc speaker setup if I could figure out a way to mount them to the stand.

I've been looking at 8" alto's (pair), the yorkville's and the Pyle's

Amplification revisited

Any ideas for amplification? Practice/rehearsal, not live. Using a cheap floor self powered monitor, and it's crap. Need something smaller and compact, budget priced. Ideas?

KROSS Bonus Sounds opinions needed

Just purchased and KROSS and got the BONUS banks installed, but in a quandary about how to install 4 banks. or the best of 4 banks into a user slot that only holds 1 bank.. does anyone find any one particular bank more or less useful? are there banks that basically have the same KROSS programs? here ...

KROSS purchased… found a used board and couldn't pass it up…

it's definitely a MS on steroids… after messing with the KROSS, its hard to go back to the teeny screen on the MS… the sequencer is also much easier to navigate.. sound wise, I would have to say the MS holds its own with the KROSS

thanks Martin… very helpful.. I'm totally mesmerized with the combo setup in the MS… unleashes a world of creativity.. especially for my purposes, indie film scores and beds for voiceover narrations…I'm trying to set up two workstations.. one at the desk (the MS) and one in more of an open room with ...

Thanks man. Good information. Just curious though, where does the x50 fit into it all? A used Karma? Is it an upgrade from the MS? I'm a Roland guy for years, just recently jumped ship

Good suggestions. By full size, I meant normal sized keys, not necessarily 88

I've gotten pretty good with navigating the MS, so I was wondering if there's an upgrade from the MS that has and does the same as the MS, maybe a bit more expanded

Next Step Up from MICROSTATION?

I'm enjoying my Microstation immensely, however.. while I would never part with it, I would like to add a more full sized Korg synth, similar to the Microstation, with not a huge jump and damage to the budget…(I'm probably talking used, Ebay.etc) My research tells me that the X50 is a pretty logical ...

It seems like there's numerous ways to do things on MS.. right now, flipping thru the numerous menus kind of kills the creative process.. I'm finding that recording combi's, and doctoring them up in the Editor on the computer, then recording to audio tracks in the DAW does not require a whole lot of ...

MS Sequencer vs DAW (Logic Pro)

New to the forum, new to Korg, and new to the Microstation.. I've always been a Roland guy, had the xp-30 for many years.. I have to say though, the Microstation and Korg is damn impressive.. My question is; is it overall a lot smoother and quicker to work in the a DAW sequencer, like Logic for ...
