I saw your problem on another thread and it seems like you are not telling the whole story. You bought a new motherboard and what did you do with it, did you try to install it yourself ? and now you say your Kronos is dead and then you brought it to the service center who tells you its possibly the ...

I saw that deal on eBay when I was looking for my replacement mobo but I was reluctant to buy it being that it is used so I was not sure if the bios has been modified or is it really working. So I opted for one that is new and sealed in a box so my troubleshooting would be reliable. But of course we ...

Try booting from the external DVD drive that you have. If it does not even recognize and boot from it, there is a big chance you have a bad mobo. If it recognizes it, and gives you the 4 choices then most likely your mobo is good. Just my 2 cents, having been on the same situation last week and had ...

Caveats about the mobo install: 1. The mobo is attached to 2 brackets which are secured by 5 screws, 3 to the base (silver ones) and 2 to the side (brown ones). You cannot just unscrew the mobo from the brackets which is secured by another 4 screws. 2. There are 5 connectors to the mobo, 3 of which ...

I am not trying to be rude, but you don't have the DVD drive sitting on the keyboard, do you. Someone else had the same problem as you and it was caused because of him having the DVD drive coming into contact with some of the buttons on the Kronos. Thanks for the reminder buddy, I saw that post so ...

[quote="AntonySharmman"]When you see Kronos logo and boot screen bar , you do not boot from USB DVD but from SSD , read OS installation manual ! I beg to disagree, but I tried booting with the old SSD, unplugged, with a new empty SSD plug in with or without a usb DVD plug in and I still see Kronos ...

Re: Start Up Failure after OS 3.02 Update
Tried to boot up from a Samsung SE-208 usb-dvd drive with the restore DVDs, same thing, 'system start-up failure' . Explain that step ... did you boot from DVD ? Reinstalled OS ? Reinstalled in full format mode ? If you can't boot from DVD (with all media unplugged) , try another USB drive ! Since ...

Start Up Failure after OS 3.02 Update
I have been enjoying my OS 3.02 update on my Kronos 61 for about 2 days then on the third day I suddenly get a 'system start-up failure'. Done all the things suggested in this forum like re-seat the ram, install a new ram, re-plug the SSD cables, install a new SSD, etc. Tried to boot up from a ...

And this all happened 2 days after I ...

I'm having this "system startup failure" on my Kronos 61, tried replacing the ram and SSD but it would not even boot up from the Samsung SE-208 usb-DVD drive, so I'm suspecting I have a bad motherboard. Is it easy to swap a new motherboard ? Any step by step guide on how to change the MB would be ...
