The voice limitations are documented by Korg. Quote from the Electribe FAQ on Korg’s website: “Don't use the following Insert FX which have a high processing load. 06 Ring Modulator, 18 Delay 1/4, 19 Delay 3/16, 20 Delay 1/8, 21 Delay 1/16, 22 Roller 1/32, 23 One Delay, 24 Short Delay, 25 Ring Del ...

Here’s my synthwave-specific answer. Synthwave is based on classic 80s drum machines: Linn, DMX, 707, Yamaha RX series, etc. The blue/gray synth version of Electribe has a selection of drum sounds geared at modern EDM/techno. So if you want create synthwave, I think the synth version may be too l ...

E2 - default patterns
Hi there,
My google search skills failed me. Is there someplace where the original/default patterns of the E2 (synth) can be downloaded?
I mean the first version, not the Summer 2016 „bonus” patterns.
Thanks.

The money grab tradition in the industry really sucks and I suspect Akai isn't particularly better. A quick forum sleuthing suggests the MPC touch folks have been waiting for an update for more than a year. We vote with our dollars; they're businesses and need to keep money flowing. I'll probably ...

Seen all the vids, looks good, definitely an electribe killer, even just for sequencing! The rest is a bonus! Maybe korg will grow up and stop making toys now, crap ones at that! ;-) Dude you're the #1 Korg Fanboy. Why? Instead of throwing out the trash (which in your opinion is the E2 series) and ...

Re: Messed up clock
It happened several times and I'm not sure why but it's a bugger - after messing up with the step-jump feature and looper mfx on a simple pattern, the E2 goes out of sync within itself - 4/4 kicks and hi-hats placed on the downbeat start to overlap completely or misplaced with one step.. It goes ...

Re: Electribe 2 pattern changing?
Short answer:
no, and no.
Sorry...
PS. And the value you're questioning: a hardware groovebox has value for people who don't want to turn on the damn computer to do something fun in their free time. Otherwise you're on the freakin computer 24/7. Think about that.

Yep, thats the guy. I've tried to report this group to Facebook, unfortunately they provide only a form that contains just a few scenarios (racism, hate speech, violent threats etc) that do not exactly fit this situation, its Catch 22 basically. This guy can do whatever he wants and Facebook is not ...

Is there an Electribe Facebook group, btw? Like, an official one? Its not official, but there is one large E2/E2S group on FB. Its quite a story in fact. There was a guy that had too much free time on his hand and he posted his smartass comments to every freakin post. If someone provided a complete ...
