why no SV-2

What I not understand is: Korg has with the SV-1 the best and most wonderful vintage feel interface. but their acoustic piano is to weak. Then they brought out the Grandstage, with a poor Interface. It´s just no fun, if you have to look every time on which knob, wheel or encoder you find different ...

52lbs with cover and stands. The piano itself only 33lb. And for a second keyboard you don´t need a stand because there is a flat place on top of the Crumar Seven. Something I always missed with the SV-1.

Do you think that the Crumar Seven can load gemini sounds into the userpresets? It has 8 presets with the physical modeling sounds and 24 userpresets.
The physical modeled epianos sound pretty good. I´m not sure with the acoustic piano. But it should be better as the on in the SV-1.

Crumar Seven - what do you think

what do you think:

Located between SV-1 and Grandstage? Physical modeling and there is also a sample player integrated. Does that mean you can also load organs and strings? The look is really desirable.

hi Jim

that sounds fantastic. Please excuse my beginner question. I plan to buy an ipad. What do I need to install the scarbee rhodes to play and record it (Midi not Audio) with garage band? Do I need to buy the Korg app first?

thanx for advise

yes technical unreliabilities and - weight. I can remember moving my Rhodes up the stairways  That´s the thing with this new product: technical stability (hopefully) and light weighted. For me the Continental emulation is not important. It´s more the fact, that I can have the Kronos-rhodes (I f ...

Bringing out a SV-2 with the Kronos a-pianos would have been the better idea IMO. This addresses a lot of other complaints people had about the SV1, not just better pianos. Having only 8 Favorite locations, not being able to split/layer, having an awkward shape to carry or stack, no mod/pitch ...

and in terms of the stand ....... does anybody know what they smoke in Japan  :D For me, at first it was a bit surprising but I think I understand. An ideal stand should be 1.) strong and stable, 2.) comfortable for sitting or standing playing position with flexible height/angle settings, 3 ...

Yes you are right according to the SV-1. There is a perfect one-knob-per-function philosophy. But the Grandstage seems to be something between. Effects are fixed routed to pitch bend wheel, sw 1 and 2 knobs.... That´s not easy to use, you have to read the preset list before you know what is going on. ...
