I just put in an order on Sweetwater for the new System-1m. Can't wait to pair it up with my E2! I might finally be able to achieve the no-computer setup I've been wanting for a long time.

I didn't know that about the MPCs, so I guess there will be some things that the Electribe can do that the MPCs can't.

There isn't much information on the sampler unit yet, but I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that your MPC is probably going to be way more powerful of a sampler than the Electribe.

I think that's the purpose of the "Audio In" oscillator. It will send out MIDI data without sounding any voices. You don't even have to turn the volume up on it if you aren't routing the audio into the Electribe

In my experience, it seems to be effects (mainly delays and reverbs) that really eat up voices. I've been able to get fairly "busy" loops going, but the moment I add a delay to just one of my parts voices start getting dropped all over the place.
