Blofeld is here currently sitting atop my Axiom 61 keyboard - its got an awesome sound - looking forward to digging in and building sounds.
Well depending how my job interview goes tomorrow I may have a PC3x sooner rather than later. Fingers crossed!

Yeah Blofeld is on its way (UK Postal strikes permitting it should be here next week!) It looks like a little monster, thank you everyone for the advice! My plan is, and comment on this idea if you will, to have the PC3x as my main controller, with the blofeld resting on the far Right hand side of ...

Just as an update I spotted a bit of a bargain on eBay and tonight bought myself a Waldorf Blofeld module. It was not much more than the Largo download price - and I don't have to license it to a particular computer! So looking forward to testing out, having been impressed by the Largo demo - might ...

Poly Chaining 2 Tetras orrrr Prophet 08 Rack
Looking at Dave Smiths Polychain features I've been wondering about getting two Tetras as apposed to a Prohpet 08 rack. Reason being that it would give me 8 voices like the Prophet, but also sub Oscillators and a feedback parameter. Does this make sense to anyone. For those that are following these ...

Thanks for the quick response I do have the Radias expansion in the M3 and really enjoy it and the tight integration within the M3. It is a great synthesis engine. I think that the Virus is probably going to creep over into the same sort of territory, so it might be losing out on this horse race. I ...

My M3 needs a new friend - but I can't decide
I know only I can decide this, but if anyone wants to offer any opinions on these options it would be great. I'm kinda interested in hearing about drawbacks/bugs/issues with the systems. First is a Kurzweil PC3x (I have most experience with VAST via a 2600 rack and a 2500 keyboard so I sort of know ...

Sorry I have been away for a while, in response to the volume issues a workaround I use is the M3's per-Timbre EQ settings. This works better than altering the volume alone, if you thin-out the higher registers. Top and tail the frequencies of the middle registers and then high cut the lowest. Its ...

Can anyone recommend a good (non-orchestral) brass library?
I'm looking for a library that will help me score out a piece of music for a Brass Band - I have used some samples from an Akai library, and the ones that came with Logic Studio. I do own Kontakt if that helps with the recommendations? I hope you can help me, I am trying to win over a local ...

Software that allows you to draw waveforms for Mac
Hi, I'm looking for a bit of software that make it possible to draw my own waveforms on OSX - and then create an audio file that I can load into a sampler. I have heard that Soundforge on Windows allows this, is there anything out there that does this. Ideally I just want to create single or maybe ...

Also its worth noting that the M3's sampler can load Akai libraries and Sound Font based sounds too. There's a wealth of sounds out there that can be loaded. Not to mention the fun that can be had with building your own sounds from the ground, the M3 has all the building blocks built in. I'm not ...

Anyone in UK want to by M3 61 Key Assembly? (not module)
I'm selling this so I can get an 88 Key keyboard to pair with the module - will pack it well.
Open to offers, but would ideally like £400.
Hope it grabs someone's interest.

Yeah I think I'm going to avoid going with Fatar. I did have a fondness for the Kurzweil keybeds - I'm considering, rather than selling/trading up the M3 for an 88 key M3, I might see what I can get for the keybed on eBay keep the module and pair it up with the PC3X. I guess I could sit the module ...

Desparately seeking.... 88Keys
Looking for an 88 M3 Keybed for the studio (hoping to keep the 61 for live use).
Anyone found a way of doing this without having to buy a full M3 88 Key bundle from a store? Would Korg sell me a keybed on its own?
