Chris, thanks, your video tutorial solved the problem !

when you all wrote to activate/press "step record" i thought you meant step record MODE, for which you have press both "rec" AND "funcion", which doesn´t work.

but now everything is clear, hooray!

chris, thanks for your reply ! somehow it still doesn´t work. when i am in flashing stepRec mode, pressing a stepkey triggers the assigned part sample (for the first/ second/ect. step) no recording of pot motion :( maybe the os upgrade did not work properly ? i hesitate to redo it, as all my ...

sorry, but i don´t get it.
What do you exactly mean by "Press/Hold Step 1st" ?
There is no such button called "STEP" on my Volca Sample.
