I did try the kapro Italian demo. It wasn't for me.

No sorry, I was referring to the Italian Grand on the new Korg Grand Stage just presented at NAMM.

If it is truly Korg software, there should be a trial download that fades in and out until you buy the activation key.

I didn't bother to listen to the Soundcloud recording. Everyone knows that studio recorded, edited, enhanced demos sound nothing like when you play them on your keyboard through your own speakers. Without a download to test on my own system, I would never consider a purchase of a virtual piano. And ...

Does anyone know whether we will be able to download a demo version of the Italian Grand for the Kronos? I've always liked the Nord Fazioli, and if this is comparable it would be amazing.

One of the release notes says they improved the half damper. Maybe it's just the power of suggestion but I find it much improved. Thanks Korg!

That's why they built in the automatic power off after four hours. If we go while playing that way not much electricity will be wasted. Unless over course, we expire over the keyboard with keys depressed - then karma will play on and on ------ which is the way karma should work

Korg Canada is virtually non-existent compared to the states. - Build quality is very good. - You see keyboard issues posted, but not that many compared to the number sold - Connections are the best I've ever ever seen on a keyboard with tons of options in global. Even balanced outs. - 1 year ...

Are all the Kronos users old? (Like me)

The added benefit of routing a tablet through the Kronos is that you can run music through it when you are not playing. I run my computer into the Kronos all the time. Computers usually have cheap interfaces.

If only there was a way to load Pianoteq directly into the Kronos SSD, and use the screen to adjust the parameters :) Obviously that would take a joint venture, and some programming. That kind of question is based on personal choice. Everyone will have an opinion based on how they use their keyboard. I love the Nord piano sounds but hate their keyboards. I love the Kawai VPC keyboard, but the sounds come from the computer, which may be limited by cheap sound cards. If you are ...

I turn it on, pour a coffee, plug in my headphones, and it's ready. Maybe 90 seconds or a tad more. Amen to that. I just watched a video of a fellow who ordered sight unseen a Kawai VPC -- used, and was disappointed on delivery. The keys were horrible.

I wouldn't buy any used Kronos without serious and methodical testing.
