Gah! I was about to record the audio out of an 8-pattern sequence, when my volca Kick suddenly lost all the data: now, even though play and record lights come on when the buttons are pressed, there's no movement (no sequencer) - all movement is frozen - though playing 'live' notes still works ...

Incidentally, you get loads of (un)welcome glitches / tempo / step confusion if you alter the volca order within the sync chain while playing mid-pattern. Tempo of the first volca in the chain, and whether half- or quarter-speed mode is selected on any of them also messes with it! Or - I have an ...

Thanks Spheric El, Yes, the FM is currently second in the chain. This is such an intermittent problem that just now I fired them all up (first time since posting) and they all worked flawlessly... Next time the FM loses a step I'll try what you suggested (change the order within the sync chain ...
