Many thanks for investigating. I can confirm all of the combis are there in bank A. I took the time and trouble to pick through them and re-allign into the first 64 slots as per the user manual for PCM08. So, all is good and nothing is missing. I have also saved a back-up copy :>

Many thanks, looking at it again, you are probably right. The combi's in the download are all stored in bank I-A (which is incorrect) and in a different order, with blank combi's in-between some of them. But looking at the names indicates they are probably all there, at first glance. Yes, agreed ...

EXB PCM 08 Concert Grand - Anyone have the original combis?

Unfortunatley the file available for download on the Korg US site contains an incorrect set of combis in bank 'A' and nothing in bank 'C' or 'D'. The manual describes a full compliment of 128 combis should be available in bank 'C' or 'D'. Does anyone have a copy of the original disc contents and ...

Brilliant work, Fred! Shame Korg can't do this for us. I downloaded and tried out your original M1 patches and they were superb. Please send me this latest set from the Nautilus. Thanks so much for your time and effort!

They should make it an open source audio workstation where users are encouraged to make their own virtual instruments (like Cubase VST's etc.). The Kronos is great as it is although, as mentioned, lack of a dedicated drum machine or Akai MPC style module as a major gaff especially for creating ...

A proper, decent drum machine module with XOXO programing and easy volume control over each sound seems to be a startling ommission from all previous Korg workstations. Quite unbelievable as they gave us the Electribe which is a great bit of kit!

Was going to post something similar to BasariStudios. Engine probably isn't the right word. RADIAS is built off of the AL-1. The AL-1 first appeared in the OASYS and is now in the KRONOS. There is no RADIAS engine. Same goes for MOSS. MOSS is already in, with the exception of a couple models. Read ...

New engine(s) for Kronos

Korg could do a lot worse than to include some sort of decent, quick sampler that emulates an MPC or dare I say it, Electribe. It should include on-screen pads or xoxo interface. I know people will say 'but you can go into global mode and create a drum program' and I say 'Yes but it is an AWFUL ...
