A few days in the pool is going to play havoc with any electronic device not designed for prolonged water immersion, including most devices designed for continuous outdoor use. If the keyboard was covered by an insurance policy and there is a police case number for the break in, go make a claim and ...

You'll need to open the keyboard and look inside at the circuitboards/lcd etc. It was submerged in water, could be corroding/dried lime/breaking contacts to pins/contacts/prints/ic's/cables etc. If you're lucky you can just clean it with cleaning alcohol/printed circuit/contact cleaners. Clean LCD ...

Krome screen goes blank
Hi. I have a problem with the screen of my Korg Krome 61. Some months ago someone broke into my home and threw my keyboard to the swimming pool. I found it a few days later, let it dry for a couple of months and turned it back on. It worked perfectly, except for the screen which flickered and had ...

Plug-in editor in SONAR
Hi. I'm experiencing several problems with the plug-in editor in SONAR X3. I'm only interested in SEQ mode, so all of the problems I'm about to explain occur in SEQ mode. 1) If I open an existing MIDI and try to play it with the Krome sounds via the Plug-in editor, the moment I click "Play", all the ...

Yes, that's what I had before buying the Krome: SONAR X3 with some good VST's, and I bought this keyboard precisely because I thought some sounds were better than the ones from the VST's. My idea was to use those Krome sounds together with other VST's sounds. I'm not asking much, I just want to use ...

So, let me get this straight: I bought a $1000 workstation with a great set of sounds, but I can only use two or three of them at the same time while sequencing? Great, my only option is to manually add FX and make the routing myself, but there are two little problems there: 1) I have no bloody idea ...

Sequencing problem
I'm in a little bit of help here... I'm having trouble with the instruments and effects in SEQ mode. If I'm in PROG mode, I can select any instrument and they all sound fine, but when I'm in SEQ mode, whatever instrument I select sounds incredibly basic and dry. I read in another topic here that I ...

Is this using the VST plugin? Have you synced all patches successfully? That seems very weird. Yes, this happens when using the VST plugin. I think it also happened with the standalone application, but I can't remember for sure. The patches sync automatically when the program opens up, and I can ...

My problem was that the ASIO latency was set too high. I lowered it and now it works just fine. I still have trouble setting the instruments though... when I change the instrument for one channel, many other channels change to some random instruments. It's really annoying. I'll try to delve deeper ...

It seems more like the retarded Windows issue where you can't have more than ten midi devices. It's easy to build this up since Windows counts every new installation (including the same device on a different USB port) as a new device. Try the Korg midi driver removal utility. It's included with the ...

The first thing to do is try to access the Krome outside of Sonar with nothing else running. Use something like MIDI-OX, it's a free download. If that can't see the Krome then you may have installed the USB driver incorrectly. Be sure you followed the instructions exactly. The Korg USB driver also ...

HELP - Using Krome in SONAR
Hi. I'm a newbie when it comes to mixing, sound routing, and all that stuff, and I need some help from experienced users. The thing is I've always composed and made music using SONAR and some VST's, but recently, I've come across a Korg Krome and I thought it had some really cool features and a VERY ...
