Just went out and switched the Sandisk SDHC 8GB with a PNY 4GB/GO card. No longer get the freeze/lose my data, I also get quite a boost in export performance. I am a happy camper... for now

Thanks for the replies. Have to get my hands on another sd card as the issue is recurring. Frustrating, as I really do like the workflow on this device.

ES2 Froze while exporting all samples. Has this happened to anyone? I was forced to power down and alas all of my samples are gone now as well. Any tips or ideas on how to avoid a future mishap or how to recover?

Just pulled the trigger on a brand new ESX yesterday... and oh surprise, the seller did a 50% discount because he wanted to get rid of his old stock! I was already convinced by the older model, but here that was a no-brainer :lol: And now I have to start looking for those improved JJ tubes... Umm ...

When in the global parameter modes there are two options midi receive filter and midi send filter. They are set to off by default and have the options short, and short+filter. I am confused on what do they Do?! :oops: Also was curious to what setting the global midi channel does for the new ...
