i found that the batteries were to much of a pita, i bought two 90 degree usb cables to make the foot print smaller and i'm good to go.

if i was busking i guess batteries would be cool but everything i use is plugged in

hmm so maybe i'm better just to use to adapters. buy a pair of right angle usb cables and i'll be set

I just bought a 2nd Korg SQ-1 and i'm wondering if i can use a usb hub plugged into my usb power thingie to power both of them.

No idea how this stuff works.

I'm infradead from Washington state. I have two sq-1s and a modular synth, midi is silly so I don't get why people are annoyed at the sq1. It works great clocked externally and cv is a basically a poor man's midi.

Speaking of mods has anyone taken one apart to see if anything is on the PCB that could be brought out?

Just curious. Though tbh I can't think of anything that would matter.

Sq1 is great for modular stuff, midi seems more like an afterthought but for me and my modualr its a great tool and I'm going to grab a 2nd one. If you are going fully computer free and can give it analog clock it's great.

That squarp looks like an amazing bit of kit.
