if it's anything like the poly/ex800 you should be able to find the factory sound file online and just do it through a computer/mp3 player line out.. good luck.

you got parts un-muted in the sample? i'm not sure if there is a global MIDI receive setting, might be worth checking the manual? i don't remember ever changing mine and have successfully got clock and note on/off signals from various random other bits of gear. maybe try just clock first to see if ...

it would be awesome if korg updated firmware so you could re-save samples in the box with adjusted parameters but i don't know how doable that is with the architecture.

nice one! yeah the sound you can get out of this little guy is quite monstrous. it also crushes loaded up samples in a good way, definitely recommend stacking it up with your own.

you can fake a sort of a delay in various ways, try playing with the loop function and the decay/length knobs.

WAV and AIFF files with 8/16/24/32 Bit bit depth will be automatically converted to volca samples bit depth and sampling frequency, if you add it to a sample slot.
