I put together this atmospheric galactic ditty. Sounds are from Sawer, Sakura and OP-1. I've used the LFO/Peak controller in FL Studio to slightly wobble the main pitch of the track. Using Firenze for the clav, Darwin (iM1) for pads and bells, Dublin for bass, and London for drums.

Thanks! Korg Gadget's Chiangmai is another great place to generate FM sounds. The Chiangmai is a Variable Phase Modulation synth very capable of making Megadrive/Genesis type sounds. I'm been producing music on my computer using a range of FM synth VSTi, mainly YM2162 emulations (the Yamaha FM chip found in Sega Megadrive/Genesis). You could limit a channel to say 4 steps and have it act like an arp.

I thought it would be nice if us loving electribe 2 users were to share our e2 sound/patch creations. One sound I love is the FM bass sound found in many Sega Megadrive / Genesis games. That sound was originally generated from within the Yamaha FM synth chip, the YM2612, that sat inside the console ...
