[Video] Space Harrier theme / Korg Volca FM

Here the Volca FM is singing the Sega classic Space Harrier theme. PO-12 provides percussion.

I think, with only 3 note polyphony, it did a good :)

Please enjoy...

[Video] Volca FM controlled with Modstep / PO-12

Here's a short video of my Volca FM doing some Final Fantasy Victory Fanfare having its velocity parameter controlled by an iPad (modstep app). PO-12 provides drums :)

Arpeggio - Arp, sequencer, synth (kickstarter)

Apologies if posted already.

8 days to go on this awesome little instrument. Needs more backers! (I am no way involved with it, just a backer who wants it to happen).

Atmospheric spacey synth piece

I put together this atmospheric galactic ditty. Sounds are from Sawer, Sakura and OP-1. I've used the LFO/Peak controller in FL Studio to slightly wobble the main pitch of the track. I think it's effective in making the track sound slightly fragile. Let me know what you think. https://soundcloud.com ...

Something funky I made in Korg Gadget

Using Firenze for the clav, Darwin (iM1) for pads and bells, Dublin for bass, and London for drums.

This is my first complete piece using this amazing, but challenging to run (on my iPad mini 1), app.

Woah. A Korg Volca FM Operator sounds perfect. With a paint job similar to the DX7?

Thanks! Korg Gadget's Chiangmai is another great place to generate FM sounds. The Chiangmai is a Variable Phase Modulation synth very capable of making Megadrive/Genesis type sounds. From metallics to gulping bass :D http://cdn.mos.musicradar.com//images/Product%20News/iOS/Jan14/gadget/Chiang_Mai ...

I'm been producing music on my computer using a range of FM synth VSTi, mainly YM2162 emulations (the Yamaha FM chip found in Sega Megadrive/Genesis). I've been doing Megadrive-esque original pieces, so you can imagine my excitement when I found my e2 VPM osc-type could produce some YM2162 style ...

You could limit a channel to say 4 steps and have it act like an arp.

Share your Electribe 2 patches

I thought it would be nice if us loving electribe 2 users were to share our e2 sound/patch creations. One sound I love is the FM bass sound found in many Sega Megadrive / Genesis games. That sound was originally generated from within the Yamaha FM synth chip, the YM2612, that sat inside the console ...

Limiting a channel to say 4 or so steps is another work-around.
