Hi folks
Having trouble finding the download for the Kronos editor/library software on the Korg website. The website is so sluggish and it keeps timing out. Does anyone have a quick link?

The 1A consumption by the DR-70 (inferred from the 5W max in the spec) is almost certainly worst case, supplying phantom power via the mic inputs and max volume to the headphones. For comparison, the Tascam DP-008 consumes around 200mA during recording (no phantom power and a comfortable headphone ...

The Kronos user manual states "There is a limitation to the total current supplied to all connected USB devices, as defined by the USB specification. If the total current consumption of the connected devices exceeds this limit, the KRONOS may not correctly recognize the connected USB devices. If ...

Kronos 2 USB power
Does anyone know the output in amps of the Kronos USB sockets? Reason I ask, I'm looking to get either a Tascam DR70 or Zoom H6 to mount on it, and I'm hoping to run them on USB power. I need 1Amp.

Sure thing Dave. That's easy enough. You'll have to program the pitch change in the program of the sound you want to manipulate via the Combi. psionic311 actually was correct, and that's how you probably should approach making the layers switch the way you're asking. You'd want to edit the string ...

Transposing a sound on one half of a split in Combi
Hi I'm programming up a Combi. Stab Pad on lower half, Strings on upper. At times I need to drop Strings down an octave, but the Kronos only seems to do this globally, i.e, if I hit button 1 it transposes the lower voice down an octave too. I want to be able to keep my split, and just toggle the ...

Try Roadcases USA. I have purchased at least 5 keyboard cases over the past 5 years and a few other cases for other gear. They are straight forward and will build exactly to your specs, so you can add as much padding as you like. There are also multiple levels of protection, but all are wood with a ...

No experience with the Korg case, but if it's anything like my SKB, it's no good for flying unless you have something like the Kross inside (which I do fly with). For cars and such it's fine. Just don't smash something on it. The new roto molded cases might be better. But I never tried them: https ...

Do yourself (and your back) a favour and find one of these - old style Gator case with TWO handles so all the weight is not through one arm as in the new ones. No idea why they changed, this is a great design ergonomically: http://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/yUgAAOSwcUBYJvFZ/s-l1600.jpg http://www.ebay ...
