Why is this posted on the Pa1X forum?

I agree 100%. I am tired of this Pa2x already. This directory should be only for Pa1x users. If we want to know anything about the Pa2x we can go to that directory just like the other products.

Yes I did and it really sounds good. Although this Roland unit is not easy to program, I have to say that the manual is well written.

I'm embarrassed to say it was a MIDI CABLE. Actually I had 2 bad midi cables. When the one didn't work I tried the other and it didn't solve the problem so that's why I didn't think it was the cable. I was at the music store and something just made me buy a couple of new ones and it worked, go ...

I wish is was that easy. I've tried 2 different midi cables and both do not work.

I have not tried your suggestions but I did try something else with very interesting results. Using a M-Audio UNO midi device I hooked up the Korg's midi out to my computer. I opened a program called MIDIOX. Right on the screen I could see that when I played the Korg the Channel 1 lights lite up. So ...

Yes it is set to OUT.

The Roland unit is not receiving any midi information from the Korg. The midi light on the XR NEVER flashes as it did when I hooked it up to my PC.

What else can I check?

Doesn't anybody know why the Roland rack does not see my Pa1xPro? There must be some settings I need to change. Please help!

I just purchased a Roland XR rack unit. I hooked up the midi out of my Pa1xPro to the midi in of the Rack unit. I can not get any sounds out of the rack unit when I play my Korg. When I hook up the Roland to my computer with midi and play a midi song, I get sounds out of the Roland unit. What am I ...

Sorry for the silly question but what size drive comes with the Pa1Xpro?

It's only 39lbs, how did they do that? My Pa1xPro is a brute.

I don't think it sounded any different than my Pa1Xpro.
