if you manage how to get midi notes to ipad from sy77 ( you an ipad midi interface like irig or a usb midi interface and camera connection kit) you can setup splits by midibridge app. i dont understand your other wishes

to me looks like they are islanding gadget and thats a real shame since production is moving toward OTB ( modulars, volcas, brutes, boutique and many many more ) and otb sequencing is still mpc territory. i am currently rewiring gadget to modstep and thats a PITA

unfortunatly you cannot get a midi out with your current hardware. you might use a class compliant midi interface for your ipad then connect oxygen keyboard to it or look for a keyboard with clock generation (keystep) for simple cck connection. maybe you can also count on wifi/ bluetooth midi for ...

i have an hybrid studio, but gadget doesnt integrate easily into it. Having midi outputs available could make it the central midi sequencer running for ex. external gears like volcas behind Gadget. I think this lack its a real PITA
