I have the Xs8 and have tried the M3-88 in the store and my opinion is that the Xs keyboard has a much nicer feel to it. The M3-88 is a graded hammer action and the XS8 has not. The keys on the Xs have the same weight across the keyboard. I also have the M3-73 and I think the build quality is ok.

Yes, you can add a radias rack to your M3-88. You just need the M3 MAT tray, M3 MAL Hinge and cable.

Im thinking of doing the same but the other way around. I have the radias rack in my M3-73 and thinking of putting in the Radias-EXB.

The new sound/patches are more categorised like producer styled sounds in the bank select wich is OK but.... it would have been nice to have the same categorisatiaon as the rest of the factory banks.

Well, the only integration is that both uses the same keyboard. Using only volume control to control wich one would be sounding. If you want one to controll the other you need midi cables.

I have them both, and I love them both to bits. Each has its own character. I have the Radias-R in my M3-73 and Im thinking of getting the exb just to have more voices 24+24, midi channels 4+4 and patches 256+256 at hand. And the Virus TI holds up to 4000....soon. BTW I wonder if a virus TI rack ...

I have the privilege to own: M3-73 with Radias R, Motif XS 8, Virus TI and Im getting the Fantom G7.
That will cover all the bases. The more colors in the pallete the better.
