Is there a way to get the trigger out without the keyboard? Ie passing the trig in to the out.

I’m connecting a cable from my ms20 mini trig out to my behringer pro one or my monopoly, but when I do nothing happens. The ms20 is being sequenced by an 808 and cv by a 303. I thought it would then send trigger signals out but nothing seems to come out of the trigger output. Any ideas here? Thanks

I am trying to sync my SQ1 with my Daw ableton over usb midi, ableton sees it fine, i have it set to sync in prefs, but no matter what i do, it NEVER syncs.

I have tried uninstalling the korg usb midi driver, no joy, same with it installed.

any ideas?

Got the SQ1, on mac osx 11.4 - turned 'sync' on in the midi output tab of abletons prefs. But when i hit start it never plays the SQ1.

I've tried it direct into my mac pro, with 2 different USB leads. Nothing.

Any ideas whats happening or how to fix this please?

OSX 10.15.6 Live 10.1.18 I cannot get my SQ-1 to start and stop when I press play in ableton. It sees it in the midi list of devices, I have clicked 'sync' 'on' in the midi output section. Any ideas? ah ok, I wonder why omnisphere have said you can use the ms20 mini to control their soft synth?

Trying to get midi in from my korg ms20 knobs in to ableton but having no luck. I can play the keyboard and get midi notes in, just not when I move the filter etc. I'm trying to use as a hardware controller for a soft synth (omnisphere) I downloaded the driver from orgs site, but when I run it it ...

Does anyone know what size I should be looking for when I look for new knobs for the sq1?

I’d like some bigger clear one ideally. Can’t seem to find anyone selling any.

Agreed, had exact same problems, as soon as i unselected mackie it acted fine.

thanks, works for sq1with every other note (1/8th notes) but it doesn't work with the beat step pro in the same way. its close but seems very random

I have a cable going from the trigger out on my moog DFAM to the sync in on the Volca beats, but it plays back at twice the speed, same if i trigger it from the Korg SQ1 - anyone know why or how to get it to run at normal speed?

I've often wondered, mono or stereo cables? - does it matter when buying the patch cables for sync in / sync out with the SQ1?

Hi, I would like to arpeggio my ms20 mini, at the moment i have CV and Trig OUT of my monopoly, going into my CV and Trig IN on the ms20 mini - works a treat, but now i can't use my monopoly separately at the same time. Does anyone have an idea of another way to do this? Aside from buying another ...
