No it wont, but the issue is, you shouldn't have to be strapping a MOTU on the back of the Korg, just for sound quality issues... Just using it for a MIDI controller is a bit of a waste, as I have discovered. cheers for the quick reply! i know i shouldn't have to use another audio device, but what ...

Yep. This mixer is not usable in a live situation. The quality simply isn't there. If you need a mixer for a club, get an Allen & Heath. Nothing else can compare when it comes to sound quality and strong build. I am using my Zero8 at home, and I'm using it essentially as a MIDI controller. I do my ...

Does anyone here use the Zero 8 to play out???
I'm running my first ever night in London in a months time. The mixer at the club is pretty rubbish, and I want to use my Zero 8 instead....
Will it be up to the task, both in quality of the sound and also not breaking!!!
CDJs, TT and ableton will be used on it throughout the night for 7 hours or so

as you were saying in the previous post, doing either of these, would they be that detrimental to the sound quality? Or you could forget the MOTU and just run the output from your KORG into an input on the house mixer. so you'd go from the main outs on the korg, but i'm guessing you could only go ...

Re: i can't increase the gains...
i haven't tried it yet, but surely you crank the master right up, and then adjust your channel gains from there? or does yours simply go from zero to hero?firstaudio wrote:how are you able to increase the gains on the channel ?if i go past 12clock, it starts clipping and the sounds gets distorted.

Plugging the zero8 into another mixer??
can it be done?
i'm thinking if it's at all possible then it would be a rather good midi controller and i could over all the other problems....
so ideally i'd take it to a gig (i'd have to hire a couple people to carry it of course) and hopefully route it into the house mixer??

Level meters
mine hardly move at all.
the only tiome they have, was when i had a house party, the gain was up quite a bit on the channel and the master was also cranked up... they then moved but basically went from 0 to peaking (with the little red flashing lights)
anyone else have this problem?
