88 key Ffatar

I spotted somewhere that it is the Fatar 40? But think there are 2 or 3 versions of that and not clear which.

.SET files

musiccankill wrote:...and it sounds way better even with old sets if you make use of all the new features!
Thank you for your post, I'm not sure I understand how the Pa5X makes use of a .SET file from a Pa4X. Have you done this please?

No - as long as you are at 2.0 all should be fine to update to 3.0.0 (according to Korg!!!)
As Pete says Korg insist on OS2. I never bothered with 2.0.2 (or 2.2 whichever), its working from 2.0.1

Don't forget to clear your sample memory in addition to a 'Save All' -

Dear Pete I think the thanks should be going more in your direction - it must take hours of your time helping out on here. Anyway, here is my: Merry Christmas and looking forward to a Happy New Year to you and all on Korg Forums - and thanks for all the help. When all else fails, read the manual and ...

This DISABLE ENABLE option is on page 946 of the manual, and it refers to linking to a personal computer (pc) using the USB host post on the rear of the Pa4X - uses a USB type B connector? These were common on printers.

Have you connected it to a pc?

The media screen shows on page 916 of the OS2 manual and the device box is to the lower left of the image above the 'load' tab. The Storage devices should be available from this list box: DISK HD (IF FITTED) SD USB-F (FRONT) USB-R (REAR) If your USB isn't showing here then can you test with another ...

hi guitpic I was interested to fit a HDD to my 61 key but the disk fitting kit, which seems to include an interface, is around £150 alone so you also must add the cost of a Disk Drive. Conventional HDDs are probably the main point of failure so it would make sense to fit a SSD if anyone is going ...

I have V2 - Yeah this is version 2.0 of teh SB editor, so those old notes don't apply. It is not an 'old note' it documents the historical development of Songbook, as published in V2 pages 56 et seq. But thank you for explaining this happens when copying an entry and adding this to the potential bug ...

Hi The Songbook probably uses a Reference Key to identify entries. If you copy all entries to a new (blank) Songbook then the Database must allocate new reference numbers and they would be the same numerically as the original. In version notes at the end of the Songbook manual for V1.1.0 (oage 57 ...
