I would like to know this too!

I’m glad you confirmed it used to work as I was driving myself mad, thinking I’d forgotten the key combination!!

Interesting! I sold my E2S, then missed it a lot, thought about the Digitakt hard and then looked at the E2S with it’s polyphony, VA synths and portability/batteries and bought another one (red this time). I guess for all the grief they get, they do actually fit a niche. I still would still really l ...

To revisit this: The whine in mine was driving me nuts last night, and I noticed it seemed to be recording within a sample as well so was annoyed about that. Anyway, I ran some tests tonight (both hater and under AC power) and in Mike at any rate, the whine is ONLY on the headphone output. No ...

just export your sample and import it multiple times to different slots, and edit it differently for each slot. Oh. My. God. Thank you! I've been doing my head in ALL week trying to figure that out, knowing full well it would be something so painfully obvious I would kick myself when I heard it! I ...

Can you copy samples within the Electribe sampler

I can't for the life of me figure out how to do this... Let's say I sampled 20 seconds of synth playing. I want to keep the chord I played at 5 secs but I also want to keep a different chord I played at 15 secs. Is there a way to 'duplicate' the original sample multiple times, saving to a new slot ...

owner of ES2 - circuit - SP404 (original) You mention sampling is a chore. From vinyl it's exactly the same 'chore" for my ES2 and SP404. More detail required. "Couple that with the silly memory restrictions and card horseplay needed to save multiple sample sets, I just can't be bothered...." You ...

Weirdly enough, I couldn't agree more on the OT! I have lusted after one for ages and read a lot about people struggling with 'their' way of doing things, just as you describe. I finally had a go one for an admittedly brief period recently and couldn't get my head around it all. I remain impressed ...

Sadly, I think I may have been a bit keen with my OP. :( I've decided to sell the ES2. I'm a bit disappointed as it is *so* close to being really really good but it just falls short on a few areas that mean I just don't use it. Sampling - it's a sampler and the sampling procedure is annoyingly ...

Is there an Electribe Facebook group, btw? Like, an official one? Its not official, but there is one large E2/E2S group on FB. Its quite a story in fact. There was a guy that had too much free time on his hand and he posted his smartass comments to every freakin post. If someone provided a complete ...

Record a hi-hat loop (or whatever sound you want to be your metronome) on one pad. Hard pan that part to the right, and everything else to the left. You can't "assign" the actual metronome to a specific pad. The advantage is that you can use any sound you want, and you can make it 16th or even ...

From previous experience (with other gear) it's almost certainly a no. What you can do though, is assign one of the pads to be your click track and hard pan that R. Then pan everything else L (or vice versa) and you have your main mix coming out the L main output and the click out the R main output ...

I've had my E2S a few months now and I still really like it. The limits don't bother me (well the memory/data wrangling does but anyway...) as ultimately, they make it quite a simple machine to master and use. I recently picked up a Novation Circuit and between the two of them, I'm actually trying ...

This feature would be impossible because it would have to flush out the memory to reload new samples each time you change a pattern. I don't think the RAM can handle such a thing without there being a massive delay. I've said this in another thread, but keep your mind locked into using "Project ...
