So...I guess it probably is some sort of scam

But still I am very curious if anyone knows if there is a fake Kronos on the market like say an iPhone copy etc?

If so, how could I tell it from the real deal (if I can't play it)?

I have found a listing for a Kronos 2 88 in Europe for only 600 euros which would be roughly 700 USD. That sounds like a very attractive price, a little too attractive.

I am wondering if it could be a fake from China or maybe stolen.

Does anyone know if there are knockoff Kronos on the market?

What about the actual sound quality?

Is it 1 to 1 for the same sound like sounds that are derived from the Kronos?
Derived usually means the they are based on but not equal to.

I have not found any good comparison videos about that and my local shop don't have both keyboards to compare live.

It sounds like they are quite far apart and it isn't just a matter of updating the older one to "get" the new version then.

Hi, I am new to this but I have the possibility to obtain a 76-key Kronos 2012 version. My question is if it is upgradable to become equal to a new 76-key or does the hardware and features differ so that is not possible? What are the main differences between the older and newer versions? Thanks alot ...
