Thanks for the reply.
The keyboard's done now and has been returned to the owner. Given more time I would have looked around for an alternative as the Yamaha grease is
quite expensive.
P&P was the same cost as the grease even though it's a very small tub.

Sample saving question

Hi I've sampled a few audio files to store in the 'Program' banks on my TE61 but when I load in a KSC file after startup, that sample plays on other programs that I've saved for other samples. In other words, it seems I can only load one sample at a time. I have the original 16mb of RAM installed. I ...

That's great, thanks,
I was thinking of maybe getting a small tube of silicon grease as it's not harmful to plastics.
Only need a very small amount.

Grease for M1 keys

Hi
I'm in the middle of cleaning up an M1 keyboard for someone which has a few sticking black keys.
I have removed one to clean it and need to replace the white grease but not too sure what type it is or where to get it.
Any help appreciated.

Have sorted it now.
I found a 48 KB sysex file on sysexdb.com which included both Programs and Combinations.
Thanks for the help.

Thanks. I can't seem to find the M1 factory preload file on the Korg website. I have the file from Vintagesynths and from one other link but not from the Korg website. I meant to say that the ORIGCOMB file is 991 bytes. It's the same from both links. I've tried the sysex file again with the ...

M1 combi sysex problem

Hi I realize there's quite a few posts already on reloading M1 factory sounds but I'm currently helping someone who has lost their sounds. Using Midiox and setting the keyboard up as per the youtube vid, I've loaded the programs on ok but the combis for some reason aren't loading. When sending the ...

Or if you memorize your settings on the Korg, you just have to suffer with a 4 key program change (instead of one foot pedal). Thanks for the reply. I think I'll stick with memorizing patch numbers as I've always done. The FB1010 is a bit on the large side and I don't need the pedals. The Midi ...

Probably not possible then.
I may just midi the Nord to the Triton and send the Stage 2 program changes
from the Triton patches.

Song cue list as set list function?

Hi I have a TE 61 and a Nord Stage 2 76 and am looking for easier patch changing/management for gigs. I tend to select sounds seperately on each keyboard but would like a more slick method. It's not so much within songs but more being able to setup both boards for a song with a click of a button ...

I'll try that. For new sounds I tend to just call up a User combi location in bank N and then scroll through the vast amount of sounds.
I think Program bank E is for User programs (initial) so will create a User kit patch there.

Ok thanks. The sound is for 'Locked Out Of Heaven' too. I'm using a Guica sound on my Roland XP80 but would like both sounds saved in a Triton patch if possible.
Just need to find it but looks like it may not be on the Triton. Strange because there's 3 female vocal sets onboard but only one male set.
