I had a good deal on the PA4X Oriental so that's what I've got, even though I hardly play the oriental stuff. I have the international version but I really really like some styles and sounds in Musikant! especially the James Last type of accordions and brasses. I wonder if there's any way to load ...

Korg Z1 user presets areas on PCMCIA card

Hi, I read this online: The Z1 offers 256 internal slots for single sounds (called programs), arranged in two banks, A and B. Inserting a PC card, it can make two more banks directly accessible via a dedicated button. The card provides much more space (4MB in total), and can host up to 15 so called ...

Thank you. is it from experience or a best estimation?
I understood you can load tens of globals on the pcmcia, no load time. I might be wrong.

Z1 user patches

I read in some places there's place for 4096 user presets.

what does it mean? I'll get a PCMCIA card and? how does it work? how do you access them? everything will be loaded at the same time?

I've been trying to download anything off your website, no luck. download go as slow as 1 byte/s, and stops after a few minutes. couldn't even download a 50KB file... do you perhaps, have any alternative website for the download?
Thank you!

Thanks! I really love that Radias now.
I have a Kronos, but my favorite is the Triton w/ MOSS. now I prefer the Radias for all the hands on control. the only slight issue is very low program count (256).

Radias patches

Just got myself a rather minty looking Radias.
I really like it initially.

can you please link me to good libraries of free patches for it?

are there any specifically good paid-for patches?

Would be really interesting to hear them side by side (or the VL70m), can't find anything anywhere.

MOSS was specific to the Triton series. The analog modeling part of it has been replaced by AL-1 in the Kronos. No chance that there would be a MOSS upgrade in the Kronos. MOSS was also available on the Z1 and M3, not just the Triton. . The Z1 came before the MOSS. Here's a thing - first came the ...

Yamaha's VL1m made it into the EX5(r), and I found that brass much more expressive than even expanded articulation or Roland's supernatural tech. The Yamaha VL *is* expressive, but it also models the behaviour of the instrument very accurately. Example (played with a Wind controller) : ► EX5R VL t ...

I'm not sure what's there to upgrade in the MOSS part. After all, all the VA part is covered in AL-1, VPM is MOD-7 (what can be better with it?), then we have the EP module and the STR-1 (comb stuff etc). What's in the MOSS and not in the Kronos? probably the filters are different, as well as violin ...
