Try Global menu P1, MIDI Routing tab. In the KARMA External section, check the box for "Enable KARMA Module to MIDI Out". So how let the Nautilus play karma Ge patterns?

Can anybody tell me how the Karma engine of my M3 can control my Nautilus and play a GE pattern?
It is possible but what do I have to do in order to succeed?

Probabely a factory reset won't reset to the original factory patterns anyway I believe. Just try anyway. You have nothing to loose, since you've erased you patterns already by loading the summer 2016 edition. FWIW, someone once posted on these forums the factory patterns as individual .epat files ...
