I was wondering if the original poster of this ended up selling their ms2000? I am having the exam same problem, and have taken the exact same steps to rectify. I am feeling that my ms2000 doesn't have the ability to dump or write as well.

I'm very new to using this unit, so take it easy on me. I was wondering if it was possible to latch the Arpeggiator and then play an additional layer on top of it (as in a "lead line" if you will)? If possible, how would one go about doing this? I'm assuming it involves the timbre/voices if possible ...
