That's good to hear! I will check out the demos later. I'm already wondering how much more space I have for third-party sounds. Currently I have only EXs 51 (Unison Orchestra) and don't recall how large it is. I don't want to buy more than I have RAM for!

I've never done what you are describing in an audio track, but in a MIDI track I think you would want to use Copy Measure instead of Repeat Measure. Do you have the Kronos Parameter Guide ? Starting on pages 530 and 643, you can read about automation recording and editing. If you are using Loop All, for example, you cannot record automation. There might be some setting like this that you are using that's preventing the automation from recording.

I just replaced my original Kronos 73 with a new 61. Also just got this NOS Kurzweil to go with it.

I concur that it works. I've done lots of automation-only overdubs on audio tracks. I love how easy it is.

I agree! The sequencer in my Kurzweil allows this, and it's a great feature. I hope any new Kronos sequencer also allows more than 16 beats per measure. Sometimes I like to do long odd meters and am tired of splitting them into two.

Those libraries sound like excellent choices to me. I have only EXs 51 and have got huge mileage out of it over the years. Note that EXs 122 by default occupies the same first 64 program slots as EXs 19. You'll just need to specify a different bank. Maybe you've done this already in demo mode? As ...
