Got this response from the Ableton Forum ... great idea :) you do need to specify the path to the file, the easiest thing is in terminal enter: farmpad -c then drag and drop your config file into the terminal to get the path. I tried typing the file path but this will help eliminate this as a ...

I dont have those options in my midi preferences

I got the same problem.

I have emailed support so i hope they can help.

It looks like the drivers are not installed properly.
I have re-installed four times.
