KP+ can transmit velocity note data when used externally can it not?

Have you figured out how to transmit velocity?

Would you buy it again?

Also, does it play well with VST instruments?

Also, can you use your own samples yet?

I understand it comes with 250 samples + an SD card slot but it's unclear still to me if you can replace the 250 samples with a bank of your own custom sounds. If not it'd seem extremely limited for the price, and worth well more than the price if you can. Thanks in advance.
