This one takes a bit for the screen to warm up. The more you use it, the less time you have to wait for the screen to get going. Apparently KORG designed a wacky power supply for the screen, as this is a well known issue. If you have any tech savvy, you can probably "fix" it yourself. Or...be ...

Thank you for the reply. You are correct, I should have stated "Kaoss Pad" and not mixed verbage. Looks like I made the right choice. The KP2 should fit the bill. I really liked the Mini KP, but that volume loss was a real bummer, even with a power adapter. Best of luck to you and thanks again, Steve
