How to load Styles from KORG
OK, I'm willing to admit my memory is gone. I recall seeing instructions for how to handle a file downloaded from KORG Bonusware site but cannot recall what it said. Also, in preparation, I have downloaded Style Vol 1 and Style Vol 27, and unzipped them to my computer, hoping that there would be ...

It appears that my problem was with the divided version download. I just finished downloading the FULL version and the unzip gave me the five files just as Anthony and you listed. I'm guessing it was "Operator error" that occurred when I unzipped the files earlier (though I did do the download and ...

V2. 0 - Divided version download problem
Thanks again. The five items are in the root of the USB stick. My PA4X is a US purchase and I downloaded the PA4X Software (not the Oriental or the Musikant versions.) When I did the system loading procedure it instructed me to install UPD. One thing I am questioning is that my five items are not ...

Thanks Anthony. Although I knew the USB drive had been formatted on the PA4X, I reformatted it twice more and copied the extracted files from my computer to the root of the USB stick. Put stick in front USB port and went through the system loading procedure as directed by the instructions but still ...

Error message on V2 install
When I downloaded and extracted the five files to my USB drive they listed as shown on page 1 of the instructions (except mine are UPD as required by my PA4X) I left the documentation files on my computer. However, on my computer, file one lists as TYPE "001 FILE" but the others list as TYPE "File ...

Re: Pa4X Variation Change Issue
I have my Pa4X setup so that when I change variations the RH sound changes too. Here is the problem. The new RH sound is not available until the first beat of the next measure which means any pick-up notes I play after changing variations are played with the old sound and not the new sound. That ...

Thanks for the link
Thanks Pete. I was waiting on looking though the "Big Book" until I had my board in front of me. I just downloaded the Korg PA4X User Manual and sure enough a search pulled up several references to "backup" which I will put to good use. I do appreciate your response and the link to the full manual.

Back up New PA4X
I've downloaded and reread the Korg Quick Guide while awaiting delivery of my PA4X 76 key from Audioworks. I do not recall seeing anything about doing a system back-up before starting to use the unit. I even tried a search on the file. Is this no longer necessary? Thanks
