If you press AND hold the TRIGGER button and then press the relevant track button, you won't change the mute status of the track. It's a real lifesaver (and applies to all the other edit modes as well).

I haven't been saving in the KORG folder- maybe that's the root of all my problems...

Hey there! I'm a (mostly) happy E2s user, but after reading a lot of posts (and the manual) still really confused about the way storage works. -I want more sample sets than the ROM allows. That's OK, right? Because I have a nice big SD card... -I can use Brakio's editor to create different sample ...

I got an E2S about 3/4 months ago. There isn't really anything comparable at the price range. I find it a really interesting mix of great ideas and bizarre shortcomings. I've got my Electribe 2S and Blofeld working together quite well now. I have a template on the Electribe with no sample loaded on the first 8 tracks (audio in); and a Multi in the Blofeld that's set to receive MIDI only for the first eight tracks. So I use the top eight ET pads for bass and synths ...
