For the benefit of others that run into this problem, I contacted https://www.guitar-parts.com/ with my issue. They suggested ordering a new adapter and power cord, but stated that these new parts may not fix the issue. Fortunately, it turned out to be the old adapter that was broken. No problems ...

I'm having the exact same problem with my Krome booting up. Flashing LCD lights and nothing else happens. Did you ever resolve the issue?
